Description:
Summary: Quality Control Inspector is responsible for inspecting received material, work-in-progress and finished products to ensure conformance with work order specifications, diagrammatic and template specifications by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Performs other related duties as assigned or required

" Inspects and determines compliance with raw materials and in-process components to predetermined company specifications at receiving station; Inspects first article to ensure conformance to work order requirements using 1:1 drawings, calipers or other measuring devices; Measures centerlines and reference points to verify initial layout and machine setup.

" Performs in-process and final quality inspection of finished products in accordance with established procedures, paying particular attention to check for rough edges, cracks, and appearance; marks parts for acceptance or rejection.

" Completes inspection records and checklists and documents all instances of rejected product or material problems in daily production report. Documents appropriate information for quality inspection reports for each order; reports nonconformance of products and processes, and reports any unusual discrepancies or problems promptly to supervisor and/or management.

" Performs other duties as assigned or required
