This position has direct responsibility for supporting Supply Chain for subcontracts in Design & Construction. Responsible for solicitation, evaluation, negotiation, award and administration of high value subcontracts. Works effectively within a subcontract management team (SCMT) environment and works well with others in a dynamic team environment. Must be mission, success and customer service oriented. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required. Proficiency with electronic procurement systems / tools a plus. Some travel may be required.
Requirements:
o Requires Bachelors degree in Engineering.
o Masters degree preferred.
o Requires extensive knowledge of Supply Chain Services functions and Value Analysis concepts.
o Requires knowledge in business applications.
o Requires strong computer skills and understanding of Supply Chain Computer Systems.
o Requires ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal formats.
o Requires project management experience.
o Requires strong research; problem-solving and analytical skills.
o Requires action orientation with ability to function with limited supervision/direction and meet assigned deadlines.
o Requires ability to recognize and handle emergency situations.
o Requires independent judgment.
o Prefers experience utilizing Prolog.
o Requires experience ensuring contractual risks are identified and mitigated.
o Requires ability to be able to monitor supplier performance as part of a supplier management team and implementing corrective actions as required.
o Requires experience adhering to tight deadlines and being able to make decisions in a timely manner, offering guidance and working cooperatively with a multitude of organizations
