105411 - CNC Lathe Operator

Description:
Through Diverse, one of our north side companies is searching for a highly qualified candidate who has experience with the operating, setup, and program editing of CNC Lathes.
The ideal candidate will:
-Set up and run mostly CNC lathes and occasionally operate CNC mills
-Perform quality inspection of parts
-Perform G and M code editing
-Read and interpret blueprints
-Potentially be operating more than one machine at a time
-Be working either 2nd or 3rd shift
Requirements:
-The ideal candidate that will be considered for this position must have knowledge of the different M and G codes that are involved in program editing.
-This individual must also have experience with offsets, tooling, and speeds and feeds of CNC lathes.
-The candidate must have mics/calipers experience.
-Individual must also be flexible with what shift he or she may be working.
