Description:
Provide technical and sales support for the preparation of comprehensive sales proposals, which result in orders from customers for the compressor product line of the company's products. Assignments will cover a wide variety of projects involving engineering capabilities of a highly technical nature. The position is also required to support regional Sales for site survey visits and at site bid / application support meetings and entails regional and international travel.
Duties include working with Regional Sales personnel to identify customers' project requirements, managing preparation of fully integrated Customer Service Business proposals, supporting Regional Field Sales personnel in pursuit of integrated solutions projects and preparing appropriate bid approval documentation. Additional responsibilities include leading the introduction of new products into the product offerings for package upgrades, assisting in the forecasting of the relevant business and provide technical support for the Global Parts Sales and Marketing groups and the product Refurbishment Center of Excellence.
This position currently is accountable for up to $30-50M for generating high margin proposals for the Aftermarket Business globally. It is required to mainly to support the engineered upgrades / controls retrofits.
The position is also required to support regional Sales for site survey visits and at site bid / application support meetings and entails regional and international travel.
Primary Location: Houston, TX
Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering and 9+ years experience or Masters Degree and 7+ years exp in a rotating equipment sales and marketing position.
-Knowledge of Industrial aeroderivative turbine driven Compressor and Generator package Control systems is essential.
Preferred:
Gas Generator / Power Turbine package experience will be an added benefit.
