Our client on the south side of Indianapolis, IN currently has immediate openings for Machine Operators on various machines. This company is a leader in their industry and is rapidly growing. The position is an excellent opportunity to build a long term career with a great company!!!
Job Responsibilities:
· Sets up machine in accordance with the print specifications
· Reads and interprets blueprints
· Work operations sheets to determine appropriate operations to be performed
· Operates machines and runs production
· Quality checks on parts both visual and with measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
· Maintains and insures accurate counts on completed parts and scrapped parts
· Works as part of a team
Requirements
Previous experience as a machine operator in a production environment is required
· Excellent eye for detail
· Ability to read blueprints is required
· Ability to follow detailed directions
· Positive attitude and the ability to work both on a team and with little supervision
· High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
