Position Brand Description:
The contract employee would be responsible for helping the IAPI Environmental Leader ensure environmental compliance for IAPI Operations. That help would be targeted at executing the following key objectives/deliverables listed below but the list is not exhaustive and other tasks/work may be requested of the contracted employee.
Key Objectives/Deliverables:
" Lead/facilitate/conduct environmental aspect assessments, and help develop technical and administrative solutions to improve compliance (ex. API Spills, BHI Stormwater, API Chemical Storage, API Refrigerants)
" Revise Env. SOPS as needed (ex. Fugitive Emission procedure)
" Help API LDAR Administrator work through backlog of LDAR drawing approvals (after database entry)
" Help with Env. Ticket updates and administration; potentially including a transfer into Regulus or other managed system
" Help author Site program documents as needed
" Lead Env. support/tracking of footprint calculation efforts for BIL, BIV, and S-KPB
" Lead/help with reporting obligations (SARA, HSE-IM, HSE profile, etc.)
" Misc. Env. regulatory based tasks based on the needs of the business
Requirements:
Basic Requirements:
" Solid leadership abilities.
" Strong organizational and communication skills.
" Solid computer application skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Notes, databases, etc.)
" Strong environmental regulatory knowledge.
Additional Preferences:
" Obtained or pursuing environmental and/or engineering license/certifications.
" Minimum of three years of environmental experience.
" Bulk chemical manufacturing.
Education Requirements:
" Bachelors Degree in environmental science/engineering, chemical engineering or equivalent science degree is required.
Other Information:
" Must complete ITP for Representative - Environmental - HSE - IAPI.
" Tasks require entering manufacturing and laboratory areas which require wearing appropriate PPE.
